A journey that will redefine your limits.
Physical exhaustion. Mental struggle. Absolute reward.
This is the challenge you've been waiting for.
The current dates are set for:
Friday, 15 August 2025 to Saturday, 31 August 2025.
What can you expect – from me, and from this journey?
Raw honesty. Relentless terrain. Unfiltered feedback. And a guide who won’t let you quit.
Who am I – and what can you expect from this expedition?

I’ve lived in Sweden for over 12 years and regularly undertake this kind of wilderness adventure – often solo. With a background as a tour guide for Fox Holidays and extensive experience in the wild, this expedition was born from passion and purpose. I hold medical qualifications and multiple certifications, including Wilderness Advanced First Aid.

During the entire journey, I carry a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) and a satellite phone. There is no GSM signal in Sarek, your smartphone won’t work out there. You’ll be off-grid. Completely, for all 15 days.

This expedition demands physical fitness.

If you’re serious about joining, start training now. You’ll be rewarded with something rare: a raw, life-changing experience that takes you back to your roots.

We’ll wade through rivers, sleep in the wild, spot wildlife, and take in views that will leave you speechless.

Once you’re signed up, I’ll guide you step by step. From fitness advice and gear selection to insurance and preparation – everything you need to get ready for this journey of a lifetime.

Can you survive 15 days in the wilderness?

Our journey starts with a heli-drop into Sarek National Park, from that moment, there’s no turning back.
Remote, raw, and untamed – Sarek National Park is Sweden’s answer to Alaska, and part of UNESCO’s World Heritage.
15-Day Wilderness Expedition – Sarek National Park (August 2025)
Limited to 8 participants – Apply only if you’re truly ready.

This isn’t a guided hike. This is an uncompromising expedition into the rawest wilderness Europe has to offer. Taking place at the end of August every year, this 15-day journey through Sarek National Park, also known as the Swedish Alaska and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is not for the faint of heart.

I’m one of the few certified wilderness guides in Sweden licensed to operate in Sarek National Park. My experience includes years as a guide for Fox Holidays and extensive solo expeditions in the Nordic backcountry. You’ll be in capable, experienced hands – but you’ll need to bring your own courage and determination.

What to expect: We start with a helicopter drop from Ritsem to the base of the Ahkkå mountain, deep within Sarek. Once the rotor blades disappear over the horizon, there’s no turning back – unless it's a matter of life or death.
No trails. No phone signal. No escape. Pure isolation.

We hike southwards through Sarek, heading for Aktse over the course of 6 intense days. Expect to climb mountains, ford glacial rivers, and face snow, wind, storms and rain. Every element of nature will challenge you. Adaptability and mental resilience are non-negotiable. Sarek is unforgiving and will challenge, break you, and rebuild you. Nothing in Sarek is friendly.

In Aktse, we pause for one night a moment to resupply, refresh, and dry out gear. From there, the journey continues back north via Rinim stugan and Bastuvagge, making a complete crossing of more than 230 kilometers of unspoiled wilderness.
At the final extraction point, a helicopter will fly us back to Ritsem – but until then, it’s just you, the team, and the wild.

This is not a tour. This is a test. You need to be in serious physical condition, and even more importantly: mentally prepared. There is no early exit. There is no backup plan.

This is for men with steel in their soul and fire in their gut.
This journey will teach you new skills, new mindsets – and reveal strengths you didn’t know you had.
This journey isn’t just physical – it’s mental.

You’ll learn to read terrain, make decisions under pressure, navigate without trails, and push through exhaustion. You’ll discover how to rely on others, and how to be someone others can rely on. You’ll confront frustration, fear, and doubt – and you’ll overcome them.

You’ll learn what silence truly is. What leadership means when no one’s watching. What it feels like to be disconnected from everything... and fully connected to what matters.

You’ll return stronger – not just in body, but in mindset.
No shortcuts. No excuses. Only those who finish the full 15 days receive the official Sweden Survival Certificate.
No Day-by-Day Itinerary – And No Room for Ego.
You won’t receive a detailed daily plan. That’s not how this expedition works – and that’s not what this journey is about.

In Sarek, everything is unpredictable. Weather turns, rivers rise, exhaustion hits. That’s why we don’t publish a fixed itinerary. We adapt. We adjust. We endure.
This is not a solo mission.

This is a team effort. You move with the group – in good times and bad.
There’s no place for ego, entitlement, or self-centred behaviour out here.

We carry each other. We make decisions together but as your wilderness guide, I always make the final decisions. If you can’t put the team first, this isn’t your expedition.

What I do promise:

You’ll be tested. You’ll grow. And if you give everything – you’ll earn everything.

From breaking point to breakthrough

The expedition starts easy – and gets tougher every day, both physically and mentally.

Everyone has a breaking point – and we’re going to find yours.

This is your invitation: Break free from what no longer serves you.
How do you respond when it gets truly hard?
How do you push through with the help of your team?
You’ll discover that your breaking point can also be a turning point – a shift from merely surviving to truly living with intention.

Picture this:
It’s been raining for days. Everything is wet. Your clothes are soaked. You’re cold, exhausted, and sleep-deprived.

You think, “I’m done. I want to go home. I didn’t sign up for this. This was supposed to be a holiday.”
Do these thoughts sound familiar?

Push through where others quit
The real challenge begins when comfort is gone. The goal is to feel calm and at ease in the middle of the misery. Your buddy, your team – everyone is struggling. This is when mental resilience kicks in. Finding joy in your darkest moments.

Your guide, Victor, has been there – many times – and will lead by example, sharing lessons from years of personal experience and in extreme conditions.

What will you learn?
✓ How to navigate using map and compass
✓ How to use the shadow stick method for orientation
✓ How to find your way back if you get lost
✓ How to start a fire using only a firesteel
✓ How to choose and build different types of campfires
✓ How to dry wet clothes even in a soaked environment
✓ How to forecast weather with basic field indicators

You are responsible for your buddy
Throughout the expedition, you’ll be paired with a buddy – and you’ll never hike alone.
The buddy system means: you are responsible for each other.
That comes with benefits: there’s always someone watching your back. You help prevent disorientation, you talk through the tough moments, and you work together when something breaks or goes wrong.

You are never alone out there. The team has your back – but your legs still do the walking
